As well as being a cello teacher, Sherrie has done studio recording in the past on other artists' albums including her own CD release in 2006 called GREAT BIG GOD and her band's 2009 release of OUT OF THE BLUE.

The cello is a stringed instrument and a member of the violin family. A person who plays a cello is called a cellist. The cello is popular in many capacities: as a solo instrument, in chamber music, and also as a foundation of the modern orchestral sound. It's closest relatives are the violin and viola but it is larger than these - so large that the performer must sit while playing it. The violoncello (note the second "o" - not an "i") is usually called the cello. (the c is pronounced as the ch in "cheese"). It's full name means "little bass viol," but somehow in contracting the name only the "little" was retained.
